BIMMERMEET Sunday Drive 11
What can I say. Thailand does it again! I went into this event expecting a handful of clean BMWs. Oh, how wrong I was. Truthfully, I don't even know how many cars turned up, but let’s just say it was impossible to capture them all.
The Location & The Vibe
Central Northville was the backdrop for Sunday Drive 11, and it was a top-tier choice by the BimmerMeet team. The massive parking area gave everyone space to show off their builds, and when the rain unexpectedly dropped in for an hour, the covered access was a lifesaver. Plus, having a Starbucks on-site kept the caffeine flowing, maybe not my absolute favorite brew, but it got the job done!
A solid lineup of vendors turned up too, including Michelin (with the Man himself doing the rounds), Avery Dennison, Munwow, and BimmerMeet’s own official merch stall. Great planning all around.
The Cars
Now for the main event, wow. The second I rolled up, I was hit with a wall of old-school and new-school M cars tucking into their designated spots, alongside some pristine Alpina beasts sitting pretty.
My personal highlight? The area dedicated entirely to generations of the M3. Absolutely iconic. Anyone who knows me in the car world knows I’ve been lusting after a boxy 3-Series since I was 11 years old. Ever since a friend’s dad pulled up in a 325i M Sport on gold BBS wheels. That was my ultimate gateway drug into car culture. Naturally, I have a massive soft spot for anything naturally aspirated with an M badge from the 80s or 90s.
A few standouts that stole my attention:
The Classics: The Jägermeister-livery orange E30, the ultra-rare 8 Series Alpina, and the Z8 Roadster Alpina.
Special Mentions: The blue E30 running ITBs (the rasp and growl on that thing was pure heaven) and Mr. Seal’s red manual E30 with the bicycle mounted up top. Hallelujah for three pedals!
If you forced me to pick just two favorites from the entire show, it’d be the British Racing Green (I think) E36 M3. The paint, the fitment, and the wheel choice were perfection and the grey LHD E30 M3, which just oozed effortless cool.

Incredible location, mind-blowing builds, and, as always, the unmatched hospitality of the Thai car community. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped to chat. With every show I attend, the family just keeps growing. The car scene here in Thailand truly is one of the absolute best in the world.
