Back at It: BimmerMeet Magazine x Archive Coffee
Well, I’m back at it. First shoot in a few months today and today was BimmerMeet Magazine meets Archive coffee. One of my favorite car culture spots in the whole of bangkok, so obviously I was excited to get out there and start shooting. This blog will share the still images I captured with a few videos hopefully coming along in the next few days. Let’s take a look.
If you’ve never been to Archive, they have this massive, indoor white parking area. It basically feels like an art gallery for cars, and today it was packed with some serious M-power royalty. Walking into that huge white space with the smell of fresh espresso and breakfast coming from the café while getting hit by a wall of rare BMW inline-sixes and V8s idling is about as good as a Saturday morning gets.
The lineup was crazy. You had the absolute purist icons like the E36 and E46 M3s sitting alongside the M Coupe, the "clownshoe”, which is still one of the wildest, cooler shapes BMW ever built. Then the heavy hitters rolled in: the deep V8 rumble of the E90 M3, the screaming V10 era represented by the M6 and an M5 CSL build, and finally the M2 GTS looking incredibly wide and aggressive against the clean backdrop.
It’s rare to see this many distinct eras of M cars parked in one spot, let alone inside a space this clean. Here are the stills from the morning.
