Archive Coffee: Car Culture and coffee at its finest.
Cars and coffee. A pairing that's tough to top, in my view. Archive Coffee in Bangkok elevates this perfect duo to an entirely new level. It’s a premium coffee shop with stylish apparel and one of the most strikingly lit parking areas I’ve ever encountered. The clean, elegant architecture creates a stunning backdrop, making it a photographer’s dream both outside and within.
The coffee shop serves some of the best coffee in the city, accompanied by a selection of snacks and baked goods that pair perfectly with your caffeinated drink. Sitting inside the main area is a delight, with abundant natural light streaming in from both sides. On one side, Bang Na Road; on the other, a charming parking lot that provides an ideal vantage point to admire the beautiful cars parked there throughout the day.
I opted for a mixed berry tea during my visit, and I must say, it was easily one of the best iced teas I have ever had (and I've tried quite a few over the years). I found myself completely in my element, leisurely sipping my tea before heading out into the parking lot to capture a few photographs. After securing the shots I wanted, I returned inside to unwind and enjoy the rest of my delicious mixed berry tea. It was truly a moment of literal car photography heaven, blending great refreshment with my passion for automotive imagery.
You could say I was overwhelmed with options: two white E30 BMWs, a stunning Triumph, the first I’ve seen since moving to Bangkok, an S15 Silvia, two MK4 Supras, and a Ferrari. It was an insane lineup of cars for me to capture on camera. Then, the wonderful staff kindly opened the owner’s garage, revealing an immaculate R33 Skyline, along with a Civic Type R, an Evo, and a Subaru to complete the collection. Honestly, I couldn’t believe my eyes.
I have no doubt that I’ll be returning to this incredible spot to savor a coffee and admire the stunning cars that arrive. Archive Coffee truly represents the best of car culture and coffee combined.
